Pretty wicked!

I really like the bass, I know you didn't make it, but that's ok XD, it's the pattern, not the sound. :P

The chord progressions are nice, and I really like the pad in the background.

I dunno what you did rhythm wise, it almost sounds like a prefab hat loop in the background. ;]

The lead is wicked, and the melody is awesome.

It does seem to go on for a while, I won't lie. It sounded like the song was ending at 4:10.

The latter part of the song, needs some work

Overall though, this song is good, of course there is room for improvement. It doesn't need a lot, just some polishing up, and balancing in the latter part of the song. :]

Keep it up!!!

Thanks :D. Yea I know, I'm still getting better at Progressive Trance. I dunno what I'd call this one cause it's not as simple as Progressive should be...

I guess it's my own little style XD.

Make it longer!!!

Please? :3

The bass is funky, I like it.

The intro didn't really vary enough for it's length, it was quite repetitive.

When the lead comes in, I felt it could have been stronger or something, it seemed a bit hollow or empty.

I like where you're going with this demo though.

Keep up the great work!!!

Greets!

YAYZ!!!

I <3 this!!!

It turned out nicely in my opinion!

People, don't rate this by the original song (oh wow it's Britney Spears) but please listen to the composition and style as well as Kerrie's singing skillz. :3

It's not done yet either, so look forward to the final version, as well as future collabs!! :D

*At some points (00:42, 00:53), you give me chills Kerrie (<3), you sound so sexy, but I do remember you saying that you think you sounded funny at those points. :P

"You say I'm crazy, you got me crazy!" xD

Keep up the great singing, hope you have something for our next collab! 8D

Nice Core Remix! :D

I'm gonna be easy on you, since I know you've just started using FL. :]

Everything is awesome, the sounds are nicely balanced, nothing really overpowers anything else, except perhaps the crash, but I still need to teach you about EQing I suppose.

The variety is great! The transitions could use a little work, but other than that, you have a great remix here. The use of automations are grand!

PS: Grats on Top 5 Weekly!!! <3

Phyrnna responds:

You're too nice. :P

The crash I kind of brought out that way. I kind of did want it to stick out more. Hence I kind of raised the volume on that. But I suppose I could've blended it better. :/

As far as variety, there was only so much I could do with that single melodic bit that I took from LK412. So yeah... I practically exhausted everything that I could do with that melody. Any longer and I'd think it would get boring.

Thank you very much for the support! :D

P.S. Congrats on Top 5 Weekly and Top 30 #1 spot! :P

Awesome work.

I really enjoyed this, it had a really nice flow to it.

Is that a hat loop I hear? :P

The crash is too loud in my opinion, I told you that already though. :]

I think the build at 1:41 could have been more epic, the pause was nice, I think the crash is just too loud (stated earlier).

Maybe have a pad behind the piano or something, sounds a bit empty at this point in the song.

Wicked work man.

Keep it up,

Kazmo

heartless1298 responds:

Thanks dude! And about the crash, I did think it was kinda too loud as well, but if I turned it down, it would have lost some of it's power (no shit) but it woulda been too quiet.

Thanks for the advice. It will be used in my next song :D

A little Kazmo touch now??

I'll have a go at this. :]

PARANATION responds:

GO FOR IT!! lol

I was astounded!

I was quite surprised with this song!

I had no idea what to expect at some points in the song, very entertaining, and very good. :D

I will admit, it's a tad repetitive and seems to drag at some points.

Other than that, this is solid, and very well mastered!! :]

I'm glad I came across this today.

SpazeMusic responds:

Thanks for the review ! :D

Ok, I'll be honest.

At first, I thought this was gonna be epic!

But then I was disappointing after the build, the lead didn't get sharper/crisper/meaner, and the kick wasn't all that strong.

What I would do is make the lead get much louder (cut in more?) and then stick a sidechain on it, and make it fade a great bit with the kick, so that it just FLIES.

If you need help, feel free to contact me.

I know this is only your second attempt, and what I'm giving are pointers.

Help is always welcome btw :P

Thx for the review :D i appreciate it xD

Peace out ~ [W]

I <3 THE EXPERIENCE.

EPIC!

At first I was like...why is it so quiet...the the piano started to build, and then the strings came in, and I was in awe!!!

Flute! yay ^.^

This song is soooo great.

Keep up the great work Mel!!!

Same old same old?

Right at the beginning, the same old chord progressions are heard. I was expecting something new... :[

I was actually going to write a review like this sooner, but I wanted to see where you were going with your music. I notice that most of your songs share the same chord progressions.

I know, other artists have the same chord-progressions (dj-Nate, B0UNC3's 2005 stuff (sorry man lol)), but there ARE other ways of making music.

Rather than resorting to the standard progression, try making new chord progressions, you won't 'progress' (lol pun) as an artist if you don't try new things.

This review may be a tad harsh, but I'm just saying it how it is.

Try new things please. You have the skills, you just need to apply them. :]

Krussi responds:

I appreciate your opinion, and this review, but I seriously can't agree with you.
It's not becuase I made this song, its just that I can't agree on your notes.
In most times, its fun to hear something different.
But I somehow like the type of chord-progression some artists mostly use, its their style.

And I think you should stick to a chord, then make a new chord at some point in the song.
For example in this song: at 01:39
The chords are completely different.

Many great artists such as Pulsedriver, Sylver, DJ Sammy and many more, have that build.
Most of my songs share the same chord progression since its commercial trance, and not progressive. I've never liked to make progressive trance, although I like listening to it, I've never enjoyed making it :P

Hmm, this was a rather long respond xD and I'd like to have a respond to my respond (lol), so eighter by PM, or I can give you my MSN or the otherway around :P

Thanks for the review, and I like your honesty :P
