I'd expect this...

...in a Battlefield game!

Sounds sooo epic, I really like the structure, as well as the variety in the instruments/rhythm!

The sitar (excuse me if I'm wrong) reminds me of the Battlefield 2 music lol.

Soo action packed! Serious skill right here! Lovin it.

Don't know if you like trance, but feel free to check out my stuff. :]

Thanks for the review. I'll be sure to check out your stuff. Don't be disappointed if I don't review though since I'm not much for words. But as a fellow artist if your work is great then it speaks for itself. Though I'll be sure to vote.

Nice...

...but I'm sure you're aware it can be so much better! :D

1. Where's the bass? I'm sure you know this, the kick is very weak, almost non-existent.

2. Sounds tinny...where are the mids?

3. Mastering, very much needed especially for the higher frequencies.

Other than those points, this song's structure as well as melodies are quite something else, very enjoyable. Not quite sure if you're going to keep working on this song...wouldn't mind seeing the final product!

Keep up the good work! Awaiting the other two projects you're working on!

X-Infinity-Zero responds:

thanks for the review.

i think the bass line (not the actual kick itself) is over powering the kicks in this song.

yea some mastering needs dont but that takes a bit of time and if i have the time i will master this version and repost.

i dont know what you mean by tiny but im going to take a shot at that means there is no supporting sounds for the main. if thats the case then its because i couldnt find any supporting sounds that wouldnt clash with the main synth and other sounds just made the song sound cluttered even if i tried my hardest to blend all the sounds together.

i do admit some effects are needed to improve the bass quality but i just dont have the time right now. maybe later after i get some other projects out of the way.

so thanks again kazmo for the detailed review.

WOW

This is quite amazing!

Enough said. lol

I really really like your style.

Once again though, I must say that your synths are giving me a tad of a headache lol, but that just may be the loss in quality when you upload stuff to NG, they tend to be making a ringing sound, very odd.

Well, w/e small deal, still quite awesome.

Kazmo

ZefiroN responds:

Thank man, and yeah, I had to re-encode the track to 128kbit, which made some of the synths sound bad. You can head over to http://www.sectionz.com/detail.asp?rT ype=mp3&SZID=25984 and listen/download it in 192kbit if you want.

This is grand stuff!

This was really nice to listen to, very soothing.

I guess the only thing I have to say for constructive criticism is that it somewhat drags on in my honest opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love what you did with this song. It just seems to go on for too long, and I thought a more appropriate spot to end it would've been around 4:30, with the outro. That's my opinion though, I still love it. :D

Keep up the awesome work!

Kazmo

ZefiroN responds:

Yeah I know, after listening to it some times now, I can hear that it gets a little boring when the main synth is building up again towards the last part. Not much I can do though, since I don't have the .flp anymore.
(sorry for the late respond, I'm just being a lazy ass)

Holy S***

This is really really good. ( 4.61 / 5.00 (+ 0.093) )

This is trance, no doubt. :)

I love it.

Actually, one thing I probably wouldn't have minded in this song, is perhaps just a tad more treble, just a tad. Like, the hats are there, I hear them, but they sound just ever so muddy. Other than that little picky thing, this track is literally flawless.

Keep up the great work, you have so much potential!

Feel free to check out my songs!

Kazmo

ZefiroN responds:

Thank you for the good words, I don't think I will be working any more on this though, since it's actually a year since I made it. But I'll try working on that on new tracks.

I LIKE

This song is full of surprises, but good ones!

The piano at the beginning is nice, very soothing.

When the drums came in I was like, cool, slow trance.

That synth that came in made me feel warm inside.

At 1:20 I was like omg the kick is all alone :(

Then it sped up and I was like, OMG it's NOT Slow Trance!!! lol

Just kept buildingggg w00t

Layer upon Layer, which is cool. At a point though, I think it got a little too busy.

Then the piano is doing it's thing, sounds really nice.

Sorry for all the spaces in between all my ideas.

OMG panning effects! trippy almost. :)

So ya, this is was excellent to listen to.

Think of the 9 as a 9.5 in chemist terms, because you don't round up with an odd number ;)

Keep up the good work! Check out my music if you wish.

Parkerman1700 responds:

I'm almost positive that I am remixing this song.

Props!

This is really what trance should sound like ;)

I really like this song, the groove it sets down from the start is flawless.

When the lead came in, I was in a state of trance (no pun intended).

Very mellow, yet driving, so ya, amazing stuff.

Feel free to check out my stuff!

Kr1z responds:

Dude, awesome :D Thanks so much!!

Nice work!

I'll have to agree with MICHhimself as well, about the poor mastering. The kick is distorted all the time, as well as anything in the lower frequency. The song has a nice atmosphere, with the crowd in the background.

Work on the mastering, which program did you use to make this? I can't really tell lol.

Overall very nice song, the mastering is really all you need to work on.

Keep up the good work!

Kazmo

Trancecore responds:

to u and mich..

tryed to fix listen again:P

Pretty damn good...

...since you can't save your work! How do you manage to work on a song with FL8 DEMO? That's amazing, I couldn't handle that.

This song is cool. A tad repetitive in some cases, but the fact that you're using the DEMO makes up for that. I could notice some of the sounds you used, I think from Sytrus, and maybe Wasp XT, still good stuff man.

Feel free to add me if you have MSN (you better ahah)

mathewkazAThotmailDOTcom

Keep up the good work!

PS: I got one of my remixes up :)

thatguy669606 responds:

Yo, glad you liked it...actually all of the sounds I used came from sounds I tweaked in zt3a+
I'm not a big fan of sytrus or wasp xt...used to use 'em but I've been trying to tweak presets in z3ta+ and lately I've been working on making my own in 3xOsc too.
But yeah thanks for the review bro. I'll check out your new remix.
